Obtaining Teacher Devices

  • Fort Worth ISD Technology provides a MacBook and iPad for all classroom teachers. For teachers who need a MacBook and iPad, Technology Campus Support now delivers this equipment directly to the teachers on their campus. To request this equipment, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to and click on Create an Incident.

         2. Complete all the information in the following fields:

    • School phone number
    • Teacher's room number
    • Short Description: Request for Teacher MacBook and iPad
    • Select Hardware Category
    • Additional comments: Deliver a teacher MacBook and iPad for [teacher name], Employee ID [#######], room number [####]

Additional Training Opportunities

  • The Fort Worth ISD Educational Technology department are offering Apple Mac and iPad trainings. Both eCourse and face-to-face formats are provided. ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« educators can locate these trainings in the Eduphoria catalog by filtering with the "EdTech" category; the face-to-face trainings are first-come-first-serve. 


  • Hello, I’m Mac: In this 3-hour session, participants will learn how to get started with using a Macbook, the differences between a Macbook and a laptop PC, hardware features and functionality, operating system navigation, network connectivity facilitation, and general application usage. A Macbook is a powerful, fast, and versatile notebook computer. The Macbook puts the full teaching and learning functionality as well as the capabilities of the Mac operating system (OS) in a portable and durable device.  This session is open to all ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« educators and is intended for beginner level Mac users.

  • Hello, I’m iPad: In this 3-hour session, participants will learn how to get started with using an iPad, hardware functionality, basic operating system, network connectivity, and application (apps) basics. The iPad is a mobile/tablet device that brings computer functionality, product creation, lesson delivery,  teaching, and learning to your fingertips .  This session is open to all ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« educators and is intended for beginner level iPad users.
