Mission Statements Student Engagement and School Completion Department

The mission of the Department of Student Engagement and School Completion is to engage all stakeholders in implementing initiatives to ensure student graduate from high school fully prepared for college, career, or the military. These initiatives include our Comprehensive Truancy Intervention Program (CTIP), the Web-Based Curriculum Program, and Restorative Practices Initiative. We provide prevention, intervention and wraparound services using a Restorative Practices approach.

Our staff includes Stay In School Coordinators, Court Coordinators, administrative and clerical support staff. We strive to find ways to better serve the Fort Worth Community

Comprehensive Truancy Intervention Program (CTIP)

The Fort Worth ISD Comprehensive Truancy Intervention Program is based on a concept of prevention, intervention, and wraparound services to address the needs of students and their families as it relates to truancy. Our approach to addressing issues of truancy is restorative.
