Eligibility:

• The referred candidate must fill a full-time classroom teacher position.
• The referred candidate must not be a rehired TRS retiree.
• Referred candidate’s first day of full-time employment must be on or after January 1, 2023, and on or before August 31, 2023.
• The referred candidate must confirm the source of their referral at the time of hire.
• The referred candidate must not have been previously employed by the District at any time on or after August 1, 2021.
• The referring District employee must maintain active employment status in Fort Worth ISD at the time of each installment to be eligible for the payment.
• The referring District employee is eligible for no more than a combination of six 2023-2024 classroom teacher or 2023 auxiliary referral incentives.

Payout Timeline:

• First Installment - $250 paid in December 2023, if referred teacher employee maintains employment, in the applicable position, through November 17, 2023.
• Final Installment - $250 paid in June 2024, if referred teacher employee maintains employment, in the applicable position, through May 10, 2024.

*All incentives listed above are subject to all applicable taxes and withholdings.

**Payment is contingent on maintaining eligibility criteria, continued District employment, & the continued employment of the referred employee in a full-time classroom teacher position.
