Alternative Certification

  • Alternative Certification Programs offer a nontraditional path to certification for individuals with bachelor’s degrees who want to become teachers. The Texas Education Agency lists approved programs on their website.

     

    The Fort Worth Independent School District partners with GoTeach11, an alternative certification program through the Region 11 Service Center. GoTeach11 offers flexible plans for individuals in both face to face and online formats. More information about GoTeach11 can be found below.
