Facility Master Plan Committee

Fort Worth ISD Facilities Master Plan

  • The committee is continuing the work started in 2015 that helped shape the 2017 bond.  At that time, over $1.6 billion dollars of needs were identified, but only about half of those needs were funded.  Knowing that schools are important to the vitality of our community, committee chair Ms. Tobi Jackson wants to make sure that our partners and stakeholders have an opportunity to help shape our work as we move forward.

The guiding principles of the Fort Worth ISD Facilities Master Plan will support the District’s mission of preparing students for success in college, career and community leadership. The principles will provide ongoing direction and assist to prioritize the work and clarify important decisions when individual interests come in conflict with overall goals.
