  • The Fort Worth Independent School District works to ensure equal educational opportunities are available for all ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« students. Fort Worth ISD’s Title IX Compliance program also works to prevent, detect, and appropriately respond to reports of sex discrimination or sexual harassment in the District’s education programs and activities.

Non-Discrimination Policy

  • Statement of Non-Discrimination:

    The Fort Worth Independent School District prohibits discrimination, including harassment, against any employee on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity and expression, military/veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law. Retaliation against anyone involved in the complaint process is a violation of District policy. Reporting Sexual Harassment

  • Reporting Sexual Harassment

    The Fort Worth Independent School District prohibits sexual harassment. Sexual Harassment includes:

    1. Quid Pro Quo – where a school employee conditions an educational benefit or service on a student’s participation in unwelcome sexual conduct;
    2. Hostile Environment – unwelcome conduct determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, pervasive and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the school’s educational program or activity; and/or
    3. Sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking as defined under the Clery Act and the Violence Against Women Act.

Title IX Training

  • Fort Worth Independent School District has provided training to all individuals involved in its Title IX Grievance Process, including the Title IX Coordinator, the informal resolution facilitator, the investigators, and the individuals who make decisions regarding formal complaints of sexual harassment.
