    Attention, all families! It's time to secure your child's spot for the upcoming academic year. Online registration opens on Monday, April 1. This is your chance to enroll new, returning, , and kindergarten students from the comfort of your home. 

    We recommend you have these three items handy when starting the registration process:

    • A non-fwisd.org email address

    • The child's student ID for returning students

    Parents can access their child's ID number via

    • Child's birthdate

     

    New Elementary Transfer Requests

    Students must register at their home campus first. You may then contact the campus you wish to transfer to for instructions.

    How do I re-register my student at their current school for next year?

    Create an account in  or access an existing one to register your student(s).

     

    Will I need a Snapcode to register my student for the 2024-2025 school year?

    No, Snapcodes will not be needed for registration.

     

    Is there something special I need to do for my student who is transitioning to a new grade level (i.e., from their current elementary or middle school)?

    If your transition-grade student plans to attend their zoned ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« school in the 2024-25 school year, then no action is needed from you. Your student will automatically be enrolled in their next-level zoned school. You will need to complete the registration process for the 2024-2025 school year.

    Gather the following items to assist you with completion of the online form:

    • Phone number and address for emergency contacts

    • Information about the last school attended, if any

    • Registration Documents

    You will have the option to upload the following required registration documents as part of online registration or you will need to bring them to the school:

    Provide 1 item from each category:

    1. Student's proof of age and identity

      • Birth certificate
      • Statement of the child’s date of birth issued for school admission purposes by the Vital Statistics Section of the Texas Department of State Health Services
      • Passport
      • School ID card, records, or report card
      • Military ID
      • Hospital birth record
      • Adoption records
      • Church baptismal record
      • Any other legal document that establishes identity

    2. Health Information

      • Immunization/Shot Record

    3. Guardian Information

      • State-issued photo ID
      • Driver’s license
      • Military ID
      • Passport

    4. Proof of Address

      • Utility Bill
