PROTECT Prevention Education

  • Don't Get Tricked by Human Trafficking

Roughly 79,000 children are trafficked each year in the State of Texas.

The Fort Worth ISD is collaborating with 3Strands Global Foundation and Unbound Now to equip students, parents, teachers, and staff to recognize the red flags of child exploitation.

Let's work together to keep our students safe!

Please review the PROTECT® Parent Overviews linked below. You may opt into this program when completing school enrollment or in the attendance office of your child's school.

More information about parental consent can be found here: Texas Senate Bill 9.

Parent Academy classes are offered each year to equip parents, guardians, and caregivers with the information needed to increase children's protective factors.

Teachers and staff learn more about ways to increase protective factors for their students through successful completion of the PROTECT® HT 101-103 course, which is available live and online.
