    What is the Fall A²I Program?

    The Fall A²I Program is designed to provide additional opportunities to talented mathematics students to accelerate their learning in advanced mathematics and science. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the Advanced Placement Program and/or college courses as a part of their high school experience. It is a rigorous course of study that enables students to develop the problem-solving skills essential to success in college-level course work.

    How does a student enter the program?

    The program is designed to enable as many qualified students as possible to take advanced math and science courses that are not a part of the curricular offerings at their home school. Current 9th–11th grade students qualify based upon successful completion of Calculus AB and interest. Applications will be available in April/May 2023.

    Where, when and what?

    The program is located at the IM Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA, 1411 IM Terrell Circle, Fort Worth, TX 76102.  The first class for Fall 2024 will start at 7:00 a.m., August 13, 2024.  Students can take up to four classes.  Transportation will be provided.

    Students in the A2I program can earn college hours while in high school and gain a competitive edge when applying for scholarships.

    • Honors Astronomy/Astrophysics
