Western Hills High School alumnus Brian Newby served more than three decades with the Air Force while also rising to Managing Partner over the course of three decades as an attorney for Fort Worth’s Cantey Hanger Law Firm. His only time away from the law firm over the last 30 years was a brief break to serve as former Texas Governor Rick Perry’s Chief of Staff.
In a 2022 interview with Marc Ramirez of Super Lawyers, Newby spent time talking about the importance of diversity. “The biggest key on the diversity front is walking the walk and talking the talk,” Newby told Super Lawyers. “If you’re going to be for diversity, don’t just talk about it- do something about it.
