Hello, my name is Mr. Adame.  I'm married and have a baby daughter with another on the way. My family and I moved here from El Paso,TX. a few months ago and we are loving this beautiful city.  I’ve been a music teacher for 15 years and I have always had a love for teaching young minds new skills and a love to see them grow. In my free time I enjoy playing music at my church and I love cooking many different types of food.   I am so very excited to be a part of this great team,  I can’t wait to meet the wonderful kids at Manuel Jara Elementary!"

Mr. Orona

Art Teacher

Since the beginning of 2010, Mr. Orona has been teaching art at Manuel Jara Elementary, and he takes pride in what our student CHAMPS are able to achieve in Art class. Our MJE Art program gives students from kindergarten through fifth grade access to a variety of art resources and experiences. Students learn about the history of art, and they learn to recognize and apply the Principles of Art and Design in the artwork they themselves create.  He looks forward to our MJE student CHAMPS building confidence while developing skills through experiential activities using a wide range of media: textiles, acrylic, ceramics, fused glass, etc.

In addition, he takes much pride in being able to teach alongside our MJE Family of Educators, all united in the cause of Public Education, dedicated in service to working with our students and families. All with the goal in mind, he knows that our students will take flight with a HEART of Creativity, Courage and KINDNESS ... "to soar on wings like eagles."
