Mrs. Cook is excited about being your child's first grade teacher. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Reading. This is her 36th year teaching- all of them here at MJE!
In her spare time, she loves sharing time with her family, reading, being outdoors and staying active.

1st Grade Dual Language Teacher
Mrs. Garza obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education and Masters of Reading from Texas Wesleyan University. She has been teaching at Manuel Jara Elementary since the spring semester of 1997. She loves teaching students who are enthusiastic about learning and enjoys seeing her students’ progress from the beginning of the school year up until the end of the year, since she is able to see how much they have learned. In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with her family.

Mrs. Low is very excited to be part of the Manuel Jara family. She has a husband and one son – Jason. She believes that all children are unique and distinctive. Her desire is to create a safe, respectful environment where they can reach their full potential. Providing opportunities for discussion, sharing, and authentic learning helps a child to reach higher levels of thinking.

Mrs. Rea has dreamt about being a teacher since she was in kindergarten. She attended the Texas Women's University. She has a wonderful husband, a sweet son, and a beautiful daughter. She has been teaching at Manuel Jara since 2004. She loves being a teacher.
