Our Mission is to promote positive student and family experience by connecting community partners to ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« Refugee families by reducing language barriers, establishing trust and increasing parent engagement within the refugee community.

Our Goal is to eliminate the gap in services for the Refugee community by working with the family engagement specialists and campus staff to provide services and program aligned to the needs of the families.

• Parent Orientations- Catholic Charities will host Parent Orientations monthly at Monarch Apartments. (Refugee School Impact Program)
• Case Manager Support- Catholic Charities Case Managers will provide student support and counseling services to Refugee students.
• Screening Assessments- Catholic Charities will provide Screening Assessments to the Refugee Students.
• Refugee School Impact Program – Provide refugee parents with information that will help their students be more successful in school.
• Envision Center of Fort Worth - To connect low-income households with a variety of resources and tools that offer pathways to economic opportunity and self-sufficiency.
• UNT Pediatric Mobile Unit – The UNT Health Science Center Pediatric Mobile Clinic provides high-quality health care to children living in underserved areas of Fort Worth at no cost to families.
• Refugee Health Screening Program – Tarrant County Public Health’s Tuberculosis Elimination is working in cooperation with the Texas Department of Health to provide incoming displaced persons from around the world with screenings for general health, nutrition and tuberculosis (TB).
• Amazon – The Welcome Door program, Amazon has launched an initiative to provide more programs, resources, and support for refugee and humanitarian-based immigrant employees. We are committed to welcoming and hiring all kinds of people and offering a variety of jobs and opportunities for everyone to live up to their potential – no matter what their background may be.
