    COURSES

    • Take middle school art, art 1 and art 2 before students could take AP Art and Design.

    Chayla Caires

    Chayla Caires received a BFA in art education with an emphasis on painting from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is approaching her 4th year as an art facilitator. Ms. C is an artist who primarily works in ceramics and also enjoys oil painting, drawing and printmaking. She is the mother of one daughter and engaged to be married in the fall of 2024.     Kay Ford earned her BFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Ms. Ford, who loves teaching art, started teaching in 1999. She loves museums, floor to ceiling paintings, and color theory. She always wants to ensure that students are able to learn from traditional methods while appreciating contemporary systems, so students have opportunities for a wide range of artistic experiences.
