Ms. Mia Crenshaw
Counselor 2nd/3rd grade
My name is Mia Crenshaw, I am the 2nd and 3rd Grade counselor at Western Hills Elementary. Although this is my first year having the title “counselor”, I feel like have been counseling my family and friends since I was 13 years old! I have been in education for 26 years and have taught every grade level, but I have spent most of time in Kindergarten and 5th Grade, teaching science. I enjoy arts and crafts and hands – on activities. In my spare time, I like to work in my garden, work on puzzles and crochet scarves and hats for gifts.
I grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from an HBCU – Texas Southern University---GOooo Tigers! I went on to get both of my Master’s degrees at Amberton University in Garland, Texas in school and professional counseling. I love working with young children, and as counselor, I want to help bring about self-awareness and build self-confidence. I want to encourage them to love who they are becoming and set them on way pathway towards excellence. Come on Broncos! Let’s make this a great year!

Mr. Brian Webb
Brian Webb is a counselor for Western Hills Elementary. I graduated from University of North Texas at Dallas with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My role as a counselor is to provide our students with their social, emotional, and mental health needs. Ms. Jennifer Swords
Community In Schools
Ms. Swords was born and raised in Bedford, Texas. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University, and then later passed the social work licensing exam. She has been the Communities in Schools Social Worker at Western Hills Elementary School since the 2017-2018 school year. She has been a CIS social worker for 六合彩资料大全 since the 2015-2016 school year.
