I began my college career at Tarrant County Community College. I transferred to the University of North Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design/Industrial Technology. I have a teaching certificate for K-12 all level art. I have been teaching art 16 years total for the last 10 years at SS Dillow.
My husband and I just celebrated our 34th anniversary! We have 3 wonderful kids. Emma is 25 and a history teacher in another district, Lindsay is 22 and studying to be a nurse, and Grant is 20 and plays baseball in college. We have one sweet little dog named Buddy. I love lots of things, but some of my favorites are mystery books, birds, pumpkins, fall, and art. I have a goal this year to read at least 25 books!
Comencé mi carrera universitaria en Tarrant County Community College. Me transfirieron a la Universidad del Norte de Texas. Me gradué con una Licenciatura en Bellas Artes en Diseño de Interiores/Tecnología Industrial. Tengo un certificado de enseñanza para K-12 todos los niveles de arte. Why I Teach: I enjoy being a healthy role model for my students and teaching them how they can create habits that will keep them healthy for the rest of their lives.
Fun Fact: I've been sky diving twice and live to tell about it!
