Mrs. Charlotte Parker

Charlotte Parker hails from Central Florida, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in English Education from Nova Southeastern University. She later earned an Advanced Certificate in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.

Charlotte is most proud of her family’s service to the public.  Charlotte’s husband, Warren, is a veteran firefighter.  He has worked 24 years for the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department. Their daughter, Nia, is an LPC for Lena Pope in Fort Worth.  She conducts family therapy with at-risk youths and their families when referred by Tarrant County Juvenile Probation officers.

Charlotte began her 21 years of experience in public education as an elementary school teacher. After moving to Texas, she taught sixth-grade math, followed by Spanish 1 and AP Spanish Language & Culture at the middle school level in Mansfield ISD. She joined Fort Worth ISD in 2012 and has come to Arlington Heights after having served 6 years as a Professional School Counselor at Eastern Hills High School.

She is very excited to be a Yellow Jacket and is looking forward to a fantastic year at Arlington Heights!
