Mrs. Medina has been a social worker for almost 10 years. She started her social work journey at the University of Texas at Arlington where she earned her bachelor's and master's degree in Social Work. From there her career began with Communities in Schools of Tarrant County. There she grew in her knowledge and experience of advocating for students in Fort Worth ISD. Prior to being at Marine Creek, Mrs. Medina spent 7 years at Meadowbrook Middle School. As an Intervention Specialist she strives to make sure her students feel valued, seen, and heard, as she helps them navigate their path to graduation.

 

Outside of school, Mrs. Medina loves spending time her husband, Crue, her two kids, Isaiah and Summer, and their dog, Junior. Most weekends she's at the ballfields watching her kids play or enjoying time driving in her lime green Jeep.
