I received my Bachelors degree in education from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. I taught 2nd grade for 5 years before working in other fields for several years. I recently earned my Masters degree in Library and Information Science from Texas Woman's University and I am excited to be starting my first year as a school librarian.

I feel so lucky to be able to do a job I love every day. Being able to help grow your children into lifelong readers and learners is truly a rewarding career. Some of my own favorite books are Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans, The Giver by Lois Lowry, The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Little Leaders by Vashti Harrison, Triangle by Mac Bennett, and This Book Just Ate My Dog by Richard Byrne.

I enjoy reading, traveling and exploring Fort Worth to find fun new spots on foot or by bike. I have been married to my husband, Zach, for 14 years and we have 3 children. My daughter is a 7th grader at Stripling, and the other 2 attend North Hi Mount with me (4th and KG).

I have been teaching for ten years. Glad to say, six of these ten years have been at North Hi Mount. I am a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana where I earned a B.S. in Engineering.

I grew up in Chicago; however, Nashville, TN is my second home as that is where my parents and sister live.

I enjoy any Marvel movie and love to run with my running clubs.
