I grew up as a proud “military brat” living in North Carolina, Wyoming, Alaska, and New Mexico. After completing my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Eastern New Mexico University, I moved to Fort Worth where I earned my master’s degree in education from TCU. I have 22 years of experience teaching third through sixth grades. I am excited to be at Riverside Applied Learning Center, where I have the opportunity to continue learning how to be a better educator. For me, teaching is not a job, it is a passion.

I am the proud mom of boy/girl twins. They will be 22 in November. My son is studying to be a lineman. My daughter is studying pre-med at the University of Texas in Arlington. It is exciting to watch them as they are beginning their adult lives. I also have two fur babies, Shih-Tzus.
