From a young age I wanted to be a teacher. I grew up in Mesquite, TX, right next to the Mesquite rodeo. Growing up, I loved to read and write stories. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University. Riverside became my home as I began teaching third grade. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction with a focus on reading instruction.

I love guiding my students on their journey to reach their potential. I am passionate about teaching students to read and enjoy sharing the joy of a good book. I am enthusiastic and love teaching at Riverside Applied Learning Center.
