The Junior Cadet Corps at Jacquet Middle School is designed to give scholars the leadership and discipline with the goal of instilling patriotism, character and good citizenship. Cadets learn leadership roles such as managing their peers and small teams of scouts. They must also develop decision-making skills and resourcefulness. Cadets demonstrate positive personal traits through initiative, loyalty, teamwork, gratitude, constructive attitude, flexibility, adaptability, integrity, initiative and empathy.
