Device Replacement Fees

Here are the fees associated with lost or damaged devices for the 2023-2024 School Year . Additionally, we've included some helpful tips on how to protect your devices to avoid unnecessary expenses.

Adapter Replacement - $30: In case you lose or damage your device's adapter, you will be responsible for a replacement fee of $30.

MacBook Replacement (Accidental or Non-Accidental) - $375: If your MacBook is lost, stolen, or damaged, whether accidentally or non-accidentally, the replacement fee for a new MacBook is $375.

MacBook Case - $30: Replacement of a lost or damaged MacBook case will incur a fee of $30.

Broken Keyboard - $200: If your MacBook's keyboard becomes non-functional due to damage, you will be responsible for a $200 replacement fee.

Broken Screen - $230: If your MacBook's screen becomes non-functional due to damage, you will be responsible for a $230 replacement fee.

Tips for Protecting Your Device: To avoid the inconvenience and cost associated with device replacements, consider the following tips for protecting your MacBook:

  1. Use a Protective Case: Do not remove the MacBook/iPad case, the case is to shield your device from everyday wear and tear. The case may protect against minor drops and scratches.

  2.  Handle with Care: Always handle your MacBook/iPad with care, especially when opening or closing the lid. Avoid excessive force, as this can lead to hinge and screen damage.

  3. Transport Securely: When carrying your MacBook/iPad, use a padded laptop bag or sleeve to protect it during transit. Ensure your bag has a designated laptop compartment to prevent accidental damage.

  4. Keep Food and Beverages Away: Avoid eating or drinking near your MacBook/iPad, as spills can cause significant damage. If you must have food or drink nearby, use spill-proof containers.
