SENIOR 2024 CELEBRATION - APRIL 8th

A PTA volunteer will be in the Go Center from 12:30 - 2 today for anyone who needs to pay in cash. Exact change needed!

You can email filled out and signed permission slips to Hcannon@fwisd.org but they need to have a "wet signature", so you would have to print these, sign them and scan them to send via e-mail. They cannot accept permission slips that have been electronically signed.

If you are interested in sponsoring another senior to participate in this day, please just buy more than one ticket and note this in addition to your student's name in the required student name field.

Celebrate with your senior class at Alley Cats on April 8th! Your ticket gets you admission, a pizza buffet including single topping pizzas with lemonade, Dr. Pepper & water, bowling, laser tag, go kart racing, putt-putt golf, indoor rock climbing, video games, Rattler Spinning Roller Coaster, Himalaya ride, Tea Cups ride, Drop-N-Twist ride, a $20 Fun Card and a safe viewing of the total solar eclipse!

Tickets must be purchased by March 22nd, no exceptions. In addition to purchasing a ticket, your senior must get a contract/permission slip from the Go Center, get it signed and return it to the Go Center in order to be able to attend. If a student needs attendance recovery, they will not be allowed to attend the event.

Buses planned to leave Paschal at 10am and return the students to Paschal around 2:30pm. Everyone must stay for the full event time.

We need one chaperone for every 10 seniors who sign up to join in the Senior Celebration Day at Alley Cats on April 8th. Chaperones do not need to purchase tickets but must be ���ϲ����ϴ�ȫ approved volunteers. If you would like to chaperone but are not already an ���ϲ����ϴ�ȫ approved volunteer,

you will need to ASAP to hopefully be approved by the 8th. Chaperones should plan to be in front of the Gus no later than 9:45am on the 8th and must stay for the full event time (further details about signing in at the office, etc. to be communicated before the 8th). A complementary pizza buffet with a limited selection of drinks will be provided. Other food and drink can be purchased.

Hello Parents of 2024 Graduates!

As we enter this semester, I want to remind you all of the financial aid graduation requirement. ALL graduating students in the state of Texas must complete either the FAFSA or the TASFA. We will be having various financial aid nights this semester where we will be helping families through their applications. Those will be starting January 18 see the attachment for more dates. 2022 tax information will be needed.

The FAFSA should be filled out if the student has a social security number

• Both the student and at least one parent/guardian will need to create an account
• Parents/guardians do not have to
• To update your student's FOCUS account for graduation, we need to see one of the proof options shown on the attachment. You can forward the confirmation email or send one of the two screenshots to hcannon@fwisd.org

The TASFA is for students who DO NOT have a social security number

• The TASFA is a paper form, physical copies can be found in the go center or a PDF can be accessed with this link:
• The TASFA also requires a few other documents, so please make sure your student visits the Go Center if they are required to complete the TASFA
• To update your student's FOCUS account for graduation, we will need a copy of their TASFA - send your student to the Go Center with a completed TASFA and we can make the copies as well as mail it out free of charge!

Please remember, this graduation requirement is a state law, Paschal nor any of its employees will be able to see any of your private information unless you directly share that with us. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
