    The Dog House is a new and exciting year-round elective that introduces students to multimedia journalism through video announcements, podcasting, photography, green screen animation, and yearbook.

     

    The class is divided into four teams. Each team will have a Team Leader that is responsible for leading their team while managing weekly projects, deadlines, and productions dates. Furthermore, Students will learn scriptwriting, editing, interviewing techniques, public speaking, and more.

     

    Every 6-weeks, teams rotate to new areas thus balancing and developing their expertise. Eighth grade students are mentors to 7th grade students to prepare them for the team leader role when they enter 8th grade. This cycle is repeated to maintain integrity of the program.
