Hello! My name is Irene Fulton and I am the counselor here at West Handley Elementary. This is my 28th year at West Handley. I have spent the last 19 years as the counselor. Previously, I taught 2nd grade for eight years.
I earned my MA from the University of North Texas in Education with a certification in Counseling and a BA from Texas Wesleyan University in Human Learning and Development. My goal is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that focuses on improving the academic, career, and social emotional success of all students.
I live in Ft. Worth with my husband Jeff of 33 years. We have two adult children and three grandchildren. In my free time I love spending time with my family, singing in the church choir, and traveling.
I'm looking forward to a great year!
