I graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with a B.A. in education, and I have been teaching for more than 10 years. I have four kids: one is in the United States Marines, and two are in the United States Army. In my free time, I like going to the movies with my teenage daughter. During the summer, we like to go to museums and to visit family.

I am originally from Mexico. I moved to Texas and attended The University of Texas at Arlington. I received a BA in Spanish literature in 1998 and MA in Spanish in 2002. I have taught different bilingual education grades for 19 years.
It is a privilege to have your children in my class. I hope your child’s first year in school provides a great experience. I feel that good communication between you and me, as well as with other school staff, is indispensable. Working together is essential to having a successful and fulfilling school year.

Soy originaria de México. Me mudé a Texas y asistí a la Universidad de Texas en Arlington. Recibí una licenciatura en literatura en español en 1998 y una maestría en español en 2002. He enseñado diferentes grados de educación bilingüe durante 19 años.

I have lived in Fort Worth since 1980. I graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This will be my 19th year as a teacher and my 19th year at Diamond Hill. In addition to teaching young children I love being a grandmother.
