Thank you Dr. Ryan for being part of our school community! Dr. Ryan is a champion for Waverly Park and his support is greatly appreciated!

Michael Ryan, Ed.D. is married and his wife, Michele, is a substitute teacher and former journalist.  They attend HighRidge Church in Benbrook where they serve in the Welcome Center in addition to being active in small groups and bible studies. Dr. Ryan has served the greater Fort Worth community with Boy Scouts, Ballet Concerto, Imagination Celebration, Fort Worth After School Program, T.C.U. Education Alumni council and the Fort Worth Rodeo and Stock Show Guns and Roses Art committee. He is a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International, served as a judge of high school musical theatre for the Dallas Summer Musicals, has judged the State High School Mariachi Championships, and represented Texas education with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. They have 2 married sons and 5 beautiful grandchildren 

He attended Fort Worth ISD schools and is a 1969 graduate of Paschal High School. He was awarded Bachelor of Music Education (’74) and Bachelor of Science (’80) degrees from Texas Christian University.  He received his Masters degree in Education Administration from East Texas State University (‘82) and was awarded his doctoral degree with a major in curriculum & instruction and instructional technology from Texas A&M University, Commerce in 1995.

Dr. Ryan currently serves as a Blue & Gold Admissions Officer and North Central and West Texas Area Coordinator for the United States Naval Academy Candidate Guidance Office. In 2013-2014, he worked as a curriculum evaluator for Quaver Music, LTD. which developed the current State Board of Education approved K-5 music curriculum for Texas Public Schools. Previously, he was the Executive Director for Teaching & Learning, Fine Arts for Fort Worth I.S.D. for six years.  Dr. Ryan came to 六合彩资料大全 from San Antonio where he was the Director of Secondary Fine Arts for San Antonio ISD from 2004 to 2007.

Dr. Ryan is a certified educator in All-level Music (K-12), Elementary Music (1-6), Secondary Music (6-12) All-level Special Education (K-12), General Elementary (1-8), Mid-Level Administration (PK-12) and as a Superintendent (PK-12).
